Sennheiser MKE2-C Gold TA4F Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone
Sennheiser's MKE 2 is a subminiature omnidirectional condenser lavalier, a fixture on theater stages, broadcast sets, and lecterns where the microphone has to disappear. The pre-polarized capsule measures under 5 mm across, so it conceals easily on a collar or in the hair, and its omni pattern keeps level and tone consistent as the presenter moves. A moisture-resistant capsule design lets it shrug off the perspiration and humidity that would kill a typical clip-on.
This MKE2-C Gold TA4F is the reduced-sensitivity version, rated 5 mV/Pa for clean pickup at high stage levels. It terminates in a TA4F mini-XLR wired for Shure and Telex bodypacks, and the capsule is finished in black to disappear against dark wardrobe. It ships as the bare microphone, ready to pair with the clip and windscreen of your choice.
