RCF PL 50EN Ceiling Speaker with Steel Fire Dome

The PL 50EN is the version of RCF's 5-inch ceiling speaker built for voice alarm systems. A flameproof steel back can encloses the driver, the input and output terminal blocks are ceramic, and a thermal fuse opens the circuit if fire reaches the speaker so the rest of the line keeps working. It is EN 54-24 certified.

Voicing is tuned for intelligibility rather than music: 130 Hz to 15 kHz at -10 dB, 160 degree coverage, 92 dB sensitivity, and 100 dB max SPL at one meter. The 100 V transformer taps set per-speaker power at the terminal. The 181 mm metal assembly weighs 2.98 lbs.
