Kramer SFP1 Hot-Pluggable 1G SFP Transceiver Modules
The SFP1 line is Kramer's certified, hot-pluggable SFP module for its fiber and copper reach-extension gear. The copper version (SFP1-C) turns an SFP cage into a standard RJ-45 1000BASE-T port, good for 100m over Cat5 UTP at about 1W. The optical versions carry a 1.25Gbps signal over single-mode fiber to 10km.
SFP1-SM-D is a duplex module with two LC connectors, one strand each direction. The SFP1-SMa-S and SFP1-SMb-S are the simplex, single-fiber complement pair: SMa transmits at 1310nm and receives at 1550nm while SMb does the reverse, so a single strand of fiber carries both directions of traffic between one SMa and one SMb module at opposite ends of the run. All three optical variants are MSA-standard SFP modules built for Kramer's HDBaseT and matrix-switcher fiber cards.
