Kramer ZyPer4K SFP+ Fiber Optic Transceiver
ZyPer4K encoders, decoders, and the network switches that carry them all take a standard SFP+ cage, and this hot-swappable module is what turns that cage into a fiber link. Pull the copper limitation off a long AV-over-IP run by dropping in the reach that matches the cable actually in the wall: single-mode for a building-to-building or long in-rack run, multimode for a shorter in-building link.
Both versions use a duplex LC connector, run the same 10 Gbps data rate the ZyPer4K platform needs, and report their own health back over a 2-wire digital diagnostic interface so a failing module shows up before it drops a feed. Power draw is under 1 W per module and the operating range is rated to industrial temperatures, so it holds up in an unconditioned equipment closet as well as a server room.
