Glyph Blackbox PRO Desktop Drive

The Blackbox PRO is the general-purpose desktop drive in the Glyph line, built around a 7,200 RPM enterprise-class mechanism rather than a consumer disk. That is the difference that shows up on a long ingest: sustained speeds up to 260 MB/s instead of a fast burst followed by a slump.

The aluminium and silicone enclosure works as a heatsink, holding the drive at its optimal temperature so those speeds hold under load. It connects over USB Type-C, arrives formatted for macOS and Time Machine ready, and reformats for Windows in a minute. Glyph's 3-2-1 warranty covers three years of hardware including cables, two years of Level-1 data recovery and one year of advance replacement.
