There is always one machine left that only has VGA. The DV-PC2HD takes its HD-15 video and its stereo mini audio and hands an HDMI display or switcher a single signal with sound already embedded, so the room does not need a separate audio path for one legacy source.

It needs no adjustment: the HDMI output resolution follows whatever the VGA source is putting out. The 5 VDC supply and a 2 ft HDMI cable are in the box, and a power LED on the front says whether it is alive.
