FieldCast PTZ Monk SDI to Fiber Camera Converter

PTZ Monk is the box that lives at the camera. It converts the camera's 3G-SDI output to fiber, carries Ethernet control data in both directions over the same fiber, and feeds DC power back to the camera over the hybrid cable, so a PTZ position needs no local mains.

The aluminium housing takes one FieldCast 2Core SM Hybrid chassis connector for the main cable, one BNC for the camera's SDI out and one RJ-45 for its control port, with FieldCast colour coding on the fiber connector. A steel 1/4 in-20 insert in the base mounts it to a pod or a rig next to the camera. It pairs with Fiber Dock One or Fiber Node One at the other end.
