Electro-Voice TX1181 18-Inch Passive Subwoofer

The TX1181 is the 18-inch subwoofer in the Tour X range: an EVS18S driver in a vented plywood and MDF cabinet, rated 500 W continuous into 8 ohms with 100 dB sensitivity. It reaches 50 Hz at -3 dB and 132 dB maximum, which is the sort of output that holds up under a full-range top rather than merely adding warmth.

A 6 dB per octave low-pass filter is built in, so a top cabinet can be run in parallel off the same amplifier channel without a separate crossover - useful on smaller rigs where the amp count is the limit. The top panel has a pole socket, and connection is parallel Neutrik NL4. Recommended high-pass is 30 Hz.
