Electro-Voice RE320 Variable-D Dynamic Microphone

The RE320 is a Variable-D dynamic - the design that puts multiple rear entry ports at different distances from the diaphragm so proximity effect stays under control as the source moves in and out. Broadcast voice work is where that matters most, and it is what this capsule is descended from.

A switch selects between two response curves: a general curve running 45 Hz to 18 kHz, and a kick curve that extends to 30 Hz with the mids scooped for bass drum. One mic covering two jobs that usually need two. 681 grams.
