Epiphan Lecture Capture Bundle, Pearl Nexus with EC20 PTZ Cameras

Epiphan's lecture capture bundles pair the Pearl Nexus, a 1RU encoder with up to three encoded channels, with EC20 PTZ cameras that were designed for the same ecosystem. The Essentials configuration ships one Pearl Nexus and one EC20; the Plus configuration ships one Pearl Nexus and two EC20 cameras for synchronized multi-angle capture of the room and the instructor. Ceiling and wall mounts are included with every camera, and Epiphan discounts the cameras 25 percent against buying the pieces separately.

The reason to buy the bundle rather than assemble one is what happens after the install. Pearl Nexus has native integration with Panopto, Opencast, and Kaltura, so scheduled recording and automatic publishing to the campus CMS work without custom scripts or extra middleware. Devices are deployed and then monitored remotely, with status and logs visible centrally, which is what makes rolling the same configuration across dozens of rooms practical for an AV team that cannot visit each one.
