DVDO AudioEmb-1 4K HDMI 2.0b Audio Embedder

The AudioEmb-1 solves the case where the picture and the sound arrive on different cables and have to leave on one. It takes audio from an optical S/PDIF or an analog 3.5 mm line input and embeds it into the HDMI stream, so a display or an AV receiver downstream gets both on a single connection. HDCP 2.2 and CEC pass through untouched.

Video is left alone. Both HDMI ports run the full 18 Gbps of HDMI 2.0b, carrying up to 4K2K at 50 or 60 Hz in YUV 4:4:4, with 10-bit HDR pass-through and high bit rate audio bypass for LPCM, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio at sampling rates up to 192 kHz. The metal enclosure is 73.5 mm wide and draws 1.25 W.
