DPA Microphones DPA MMP-B Preamp with Low Cut and High Boost

The MMP-B is the filtered body in the modular range. It carries a permanent third-order low cut at 50 Hz to keep stage rumble and handling noise out of the signal, plus two switchable filters for shaping the top end and trimming further at the bottom.

It takes the same MMC capsules as the plain MMP-A, so a cardioid, supercardioid, wide cardioid, shotgun or omni capsule can all be run through it. Useful where the chain downstream has no filtering of its own - live broadcast positions, podiums and sports pits.
