DPA Microphones DPA MMC4018 Supercardioid Pencil Microphone Capsule

The MMC4018 is the supercardioid capsule from the 4018A. It is tighter than the 4011 cardioid, which is what you want on a podium, a table position or a boom where the talker is on axis and the room is not. Off-axis it stays even rather than developing a hole behind the null.

As part of the modular system the same capsule can be a long conventional pencil mic on an MMP-A, a stubby one on an MMP-C, or a gooseneck on an MMP-F boom. The figures below are for the capsule measured as a complete 4018A.
