Crestron STIRP IR Emitter Probe
The STIRP is the small part that lets a Crestron system drive gear that only speaks infrared. The emitter head adheres directly over the IR sensor window of a television, a disc player, or any other IR controllable device, and a 3.5 mm mini phone plug goes into an IR port on a Crestron control system or IR distribution device.
The head is tiny, a quarter inch tall and about a third of an inch wide, so it disappears on the bezel of a display. The cable is 7 ft long with a 3 ft mini-wire lead, which usually reaches from a rack or a control box to a display without an extension. Buy one per controlled device.
