Black Box KV9204A ServSwitch EC 4-Port KVM Switch, VGA with PS/2 or USB

This 1U ServSwitch EC takes four servers - PS/2, USB or a mix - and puts them under one console. A slide switch on the rear panel sets the console mode, so the same unit works with the keyboard and mouse you already have. Video runs to 1920 x 1440 with DDC2B compatibility, and keyboard, video and mouse signals reach each server through a single HD15 connector, which cuts the cable count behind the rack.

Select servers from front-panel buttons, hotkeys or the on-screen display, where you can give each machine a 14-character name. Auto-scan steps through the ports and pauses the moment it sees keyboard or mouse activity. Cascade in a master-slave configuration to reach up to 16 servers. Settings and names are kept in non-volatile memory, and the switch is transparent to the operating system.
