Black Box KVT100A USB Laptop Console Crash Cart Adapter

The crash cart without the cart. This handheld adapter plugs into a server's VGA port and USB port at one end and into your laptop at the other, and the supplied software opens the server's video in a window on your screen - no reboot, no change to the server, no drivers to install on the target. Emergency recovery, routine maintenance or a quick BIOS visit all work the way they would on a real console.

The adapter emulates a USB keyboard and mouse and has built-in VGA and USB keyboard/mouse connectors on the server side, with a high-speed 480 Mbps USB Mini Type B connector and a detachable cable on the laptop side. A passive PS/2-to-USB adapter is included for older keyboards (PS/2 mice are not supported). It is fully hot-pluggable, the video window scales, and you can take a screen snapshot. Works with Windows and Mac laptops.
