Black Box KV9208A ServSwitch EC 8-Port KVM Switch, VGA with PS/2 or USB

An entry-level data-centre switch that handles eight servers of either flavour - PS/2, USB or mixed - from a single console you choose to be PS/2 or USB via a rear-panel slide switch. Video reaches 1920 x 1440 and the switch is DDC2B compatible. Black Box's combined CPU cables carry video and keyboard/mouse on one lead in lengths up to 15 feet, which keeps the back of the rack manageable.

The unit can run interface-powered, drawing what it needs from the target machines' keyboard/mouse connections when no external supply is used. Switch by front-panel button, hotkey or on-screen display, name each server with up to 14 characters, and let auto-scan cycle the ports until it detects activity. Cascade to 64 servers. Mounting brackets are included for the 1U rack position.
