Autocue P7014-0900 Prompter Tally Light
Once a camera is behind a prompter hood its own tally is hidden, which is the problem this solves. The Autocue tally light mounts on top of the hood, in the presenter's eyeline rather than off to one side, and shows red or green for live and preview. Brightness runs across five levels so it reads in a dark studio without dazzling in a bright one, and five camera number inserts are supplied, four numbered and one blank, to slot in front of the light.
Triggering is from an optical sensor placed over the camera's own tally, or from a contact closure where the facility provides one. Power and data are RJ45 in and out, so the tally light and an Autocue Clock daisy-chain on a single run. It draws 3W maximum at 12V. Supplied with the tally light, camera number tabs, tally sensor, RJ12-RJ45 power cable, RJ45 power and data cable and mounting brackets. On an Explorer prompter a clock and tally PSU is required.
