Audio-Technica UE-UL UniLine Element

The UE-UL is the UniLine interchangeable element for Audio-Technica's UniPoint modular microphones, giving the narrowest pickup in the family: a focused 90-degree line-cardioid pattern for the greatest reach and off-axis rejection. Dropping it into a UniPoint body pulls a distant or isolated source out of a live room and holds down feedback where a wider cardioid would struggle.

The fixed-charge condenser element screws onto compatible UniPoint bodies, including the U853 hanging and U857 gooseneck models, so an installed microphone can be re-patterned without replacing the whole unit. Fitted to a UniPoint body it delivers a 30 to 20,000 Hz response with an 80 Hz, 18 dB/octave low-frequency roll-off.
