Audio-Technica UE-C Element

The UE-C is the cardioid interchangeable element for Audio-Technica's UniPoint installed-microphone system, a capsule that unscrews and swaps in seconds to change a microphone's pickup pattern without replacing the whole unit. Its cardioid pattern gives a 120 degree acceptance angle, tightening focus on the talker and rejecting off-axis room sound.

It drops into the U851, U853, U857, U873R, and U891 bodies, so one gooseneck, boundary, hanging, or handheld UniPoint mic can move from omnidirectional to cardioid coverage as a room's needs change. Output stays low impedance and balanced through the host body's electronics.
