Audio-Technica AT803 Omnidirectional Condenser Lavalier Microphone
The AT803 is a miniature omnidirectional lavalier condenser microphone equally at home clipped to a presenter or mounted on an instrument. Its small capsule is discreet on camera while the omnidirectional pattern captures natural, full speech that is forgiving of head movement. Because omni capsules avoid proximity effect, it stays even and natural at close range.
It runs on 11 to 52V phantom power or a 1.5V AA battery, so it works whether or not phantom is available. A 6-foot cable connects to an included power module for a clean XLR feed. It suits lecterns, panels, and acoustic instruments where an unobtrusive, natural-sounding lavalier is needed.
