Audio-Technica AT803 Lavalier Microphone
The AT803 is a miniature omnidirectional lavalier condenser microphone equally at home clipped to a presenter or mounted on an instrument. Its small capsule stays discreet on camera while the omnidirectional pattern captures natural, full speech that is forgiving of head movement, and because omni capsules avoid proximity effect it stays even at close range.
It runs on 11 to 52V phantom power or a 1.5V AA battery, so it works whether or not phantom is available, and a 6 foot cable connects to the included AT8531 power module for a clean XLRM feed. The kit ships with an AT8116 windscreen, AT8419 clothing clip, battery, and a protective carrying case, suiting lecterns, panels, and acoustic instruments.
