Ashton Bentley ST7 Shaped 7 Seat Table Surface
The shaped range exists because a rectangular boardroom table puts half the room in profile to the camera and the other half in front of the display. The ST7 surface curves the seating line so all seven people face the front of the room, hold eye contact with the remote participants, and stay clear of the content on screen. The chamfer under the edge is the detail that separates the shaped tables from the rectangular and immersive ranges, which use a straight edge.
Grommets in the surface bring cables up to touch panels, conference phones and microphones without anything running across the top, and the leg assemblies underneath carry an internal cable tray between them so the run to the display end of the room needs no floor boxes cut in. This part number is the surface itself: legs, top plates and the joining cable tray are ordered separately, which is how the range is designed to be palletised and built on site. It is quoted here in solid white; light wood, dark wood and grey wood textures are the other published finishes.
