AJA Ki Pro Rack Digital File Recorder

The Ki Pro Rack is a 1RU deck that records 10-bit Apple ProRes 422 (including HQ, LT, and Proxy) and Avid DNxHD straight to removable storage modules, turning camera and switcher feeds into edit-ready files with no transcoding step. Two media slots accept KiStor HDD or SSD modules and support rollover recording, so capture continues onto the second module when the first fills. It plays back as well as records, doubling as a file-based deck in a rack.

Rear connections cover HD/SD-SDI and HDMI in and out, component analog, AES and analog XLR balanced audio, LTC timecode, RS-422 machine control, and LAN. Audio runs up to eight channels of 24-bit embedded audio at 48 kHz over SDI and HDMI. Storage modules are purchased separately to match the capacity a production needs.
