AJA Pak Dock Pro USB 3.2 Pak Media Reader

The Pak Dock Pro is a compact external dock that reads every AJA Pak SSD module and connects to a host computer over USB 3.2 Gen 2. After a shoot, an editor drops the Pak that was recording in a Ki Pro Ultra into the dock and pulls the ProRes or DNxHR files straight into an editing system, freeing the recorder to keep working. Transfer runs at up to 10 Gb/s, with actual speed depending on the Pak media and host system.

The dock is bus-powered, so it needs no external supply, and uses a reversible USB Type-C connector. It is housed in a small metal enclosure (roughly 11 x 6 x 1.5 cm) and ships with a USB cable, making it easy to keep in a kit or on an edit desk.
