AJA IP25-R SMPTE ST 2110 to 12G-SDI and HDMI Converter
The IP25-R sits between a SMPTE ST 2110 media network and traditional SDI and HDMI infrastructure, and since the v2.0 firmware it works in both directions. In Rx mode it de-encapsulates up to six streams of ST 2110-20 video along with ST 2110-30 audio and ST 2110-40 ancillary data and puts them out on baseband SDI and HDMI for monitoring, playout or routing. In Tx mode it takes four SDI inputs up to 12G-SDI and encapsulates them to ST 2110 with frame-accurate synchronisation.
Connectivity is two SFP28 cages that accept 10 GigE and 25 GigE modules, four bi-directional 12G-SDI BNCs and two HDMI 2.0 outputs, with a separate RJ-45 1 GigE port for out-of-band configuration and control. The dual SFP cages support ST 2022-7 seamless protection switching across redundant IP paths, and NMOS IS-04 v1.3 and IS-05 v1.1 handle discovery, registration and control. Video runs YCbCr 4:2:2 10-bit up to 4K DCI 4096x2160p60. SFP modules are not included.
