The DRM2-Plus is a 3RU rackmount frame that mounts and powers AJA Mini-Converters as a group instead of leaving a dozen wall-warts loose behind the rack. It has 12 mounting slots and ships with 12 modular carriers. Smaller converters such as the single and dual channel FiDO, HA5-Plus, Hi5-Plus, V2Analog and V2Digital can be doubled up two per carrier with the DRM2-YC Y-Cable, for up to 24 in one frame. Next-generation converters like the DANTE-12GAM, IP25-R and UDC-4K take one carrier across two slots, up to six per frame, using the DRM2-PLUS-CX adapter or the DRM2-PLUS-6X Mini-XLR harness.

Thirteen +12V DC regulated outputs are hardwired to the supply, twelve for converters and one reserved for the active faceplate. Order it with a single supply or with redundant supplies for mission-critical broadcast and live work, and with a passive faceplate or the four-fan active faceplate for higher ambient temperatures on location or on set. The hinged front panel opens for access to every converter without pulling the frame out of the rack, and converters can be installed or removed in place.
