Turbosound TQ8 8" Two-Way Passive Installation Loudspeaker

The TQ8 is the small cabinet in the Turbosound TQ line, a two-way passive 8" system voiced for speech and music reinforcement where the box has to stay out of sight. It is engineered to run on Lab.gruppen loudspeaker management, which is where its presets live.

A single neodymium low frequency driver and a 1.4" neodymium compression driver sit on a rotatable 80 x 30 degree exponential horn with the dendritic plane wave transformer waveguide, crossed over passively inside a reflex-loaded plywood enclosure. The rear plate carries two twist-lock connectors for input and link, the cabinet takes a dual 35 mm pole socket, and threaded rigging points accept the yoke and swivel brackets sold separately. Lab.gruppen PLM+ presets and EASE GLL data are published for the series.
