RCF PL68-EN

The RCF PL 68-EN is a 6-inch full-range ceiling speaker designed for voice alarm and public address work, where clear speech has to survive even during a fire. Its defining feature is a flameproof steel back can that shields the transducer and wiring from the high temperatures reached in an emergency, so evacuation messages stay intelligible when they matter most. The full-range driver delivers 94 dB sensitivity for crisp speech reproduction, and the unit recesses cleanly into ceilings or panels.

The speaker runs on a 100V distribution line with selectable 6, 3, or 1.5 watt taps, letting you balance level across a zone from the terminal block. Construction is steel throughout, frame, grille, and back can, with an in/out ceramic terminal block and a thermal fuse that keeps the line intact if one speaker fails. It ships in white.
