Panasonic Lumix ZS99 Compact Camera with 30x Zoom

The Lumix ZS99 is the pocket end of the range: a 1/2.3-type MOS sensor with approximately 20.3 effective megapixels behind a 30x optical zoom running f=4.3mm to 129.0mm, which is 24mm to 720mm in 35mm terms. iZoom doubles that again for a further reach, and optical stabilisation is built in with a dedicated panning mode.

The rear screen is a 3.0-inch 1.84 million dot touchscreen in a 3:2 ratio, and the camera writes to SD, SDHC or SDXC cards including UHS-I Speed Class 3. Power comes from a 7.2V 1025mAh lithium-ion pack. The body measures approximately 112.0 x 67.8 x 43.1mm excluding protrusions and weighs approximately 322g with card and battery, or approximately 280g bare. Black and silver finishes are listed.
