Kinefinity KineMAG Nano SSD
KineMAG Nano is Kinefinity's recording media for the MAVO Edge 8K, MAVO Edge 6K, and MAVO mark2 LF/S35, built around a standard M.2 2280 NVMe SSD housed in a purpose-built caddy. A camera-side PCIe 3.0 port and a USB-C port share the same drive, so footage offloads over USB 3.1 Gen2 at up to 10Gbps without pulling the media through a separate reader. Read-only mode and RAID 5 redundancy protect footage once a card is full and pulled for offload.
The Nano Body ships empty for shooters upgrading their own M.2 drive, while the 1TB and 2TB versions come pre-loaded and ready to record; at 8K in ProRes 4444, a 1TB card holds about 27 minutes at 25fps. It is not compatible with earlier Kinefinity camera generations.
