The MTC-426MR is a plaster-ring (mud ring) construction bracket for Control 426C/T, 426LP, & 424LP, a JBL Control Contractor installation accessory sold as a set of 6 pieces. It is the mud-ring/new-construction counterpart to the grille sold for the same speaker (MTC-426BG / MTC-426SG).
Installs before drywall as part of the standard Control Contractor rough-in kit for this model.
