Hear Technologies PRO Hub AES/EBU Card

The PRO Hub AES/EBU Card lets a Hear Back PRO Hub communicate with pro audio gear over multi-channel AES/EBU, one of six protocols that populate the Hub's four card slots alongside analog, ADAT, Dante, Waves SoundGrid, and MADI. A jumper setting lets the user choose the card's channel configuration, and it runs sample rates up to 192 kHz.

The card breaks out over a DB-25 connector; a DB-25 to eight-XLR AES/EBU cable, with each XLR carrying two channels of digital audio, is sold separately unless it is bundled with the card. Two AES/EBU cards can populate a single Hub for A/B input switching between two sources, and up to four can be populated for A/B switching plus dedicated AES/EBU outputs.
