Dream Cymbals Feng Wind Gongs

A Feng gong, or wind gong, is the flat one: fast to speak, wide open across the frequency range, and clean on the way out. In an orchestra it fills space without covering anything else. In a studio or a sound bath the same broad spectrum is what people mean when they say a gong can be felt as much as heard.

Every piece is made by hand in the Dream workshop rather than pressed on a line. Diameters offered here run 6 in, 8 in, 10 in, 12 in, 16 in, 18 in, 20 in, 22 in, 24 in, 28 in, 30 in, 32 in, 34 in, 36 in, 40 in, 44 in, 47 in and 51 in, each ordered as its own part number. A mallet ships with each gong.
