Crestron INETS-IOEX-DOOR-BATT infiNET EX Wireless Door Sensor

The INETS-IOEX-DOOR-BATT reports door state to a Crestron control system over infiNET EX, which makes it a trigger for lighting scenes, HVAC setbacks, notifications and anything else the processor can act on. An internal normally open magnetic switch closes when the low-profile magnet on the jamb comes into range. Drill a 7/8 in hole in the top of the door and the sensor disappears; mounted on the strike edge or the jamb it stays partly visible, and the magnet is visible in every installation.

Surface mounting with the supplied double-sided tape is the quick alternative to recessing. Where a magnet is not the right trigger, the supplied dry-contact leads connect the sensor to an external dry contact instead. Power is a single 3.6 VDC 1/2 AA lithium cell rated for over three years, and the sensor beeps on door open and close when the battery runs low. Being battery powered, it acts as a leaf node on the mesh and does not extend range; an infiNET EX gateway is required.
