Countryman Type 10S Stereo Direct Box
The Type 10S is the two-channel Type 10, and it keeps the numbers that make the single-channel box worth having: 10 Hz to 50 kHz within 1 dB, THD under 0.001% at 1 kHz. Cross-talk rejection better than 105 dB across the audio band is what makes it a stereo box rather than two mono boxes sharing a case.
Transformer isolation on both channels clears hum, buzz, and RF off long XLR runs, and the box drives a board across hundreds of feet on 48 V phantom or a 9 V battery good for about 130 hours. Each channel has its own 0 dB, -15 dB, and -30 dB pad.
