Canon Speedlite EL-1
The Canon Speedlite EL-1 is Canon's flagship professional flash, built for photographers who shoot high volumes of frames and demand consistent output shot after shot. It puts out a powerful guide number of 60 meters (roughly 197 feet at ISO 100 with the head zoomed to 200mm) and covers a 24-200mm zoom range, with a pull-down wide panel for 14mm coverage. A precise E-TTL II metering system and manual output all the way down to 1/8192 power give it both automatic reliability and fine creative control.
Instead of AA cells, the EL-1 runs on a dedicated LP-EL Lithium-Ion battery pack charged by the LC-E6, delivering fast recycling of about 0.1 to 0.9 seconds and hundreds of full-power flashes per charge. A built-in active cooling system manages heat during long sessions so the flash keeps firing when a conventional unit would throttle back. It ships as a full kit: soft case, stand, Bounce Adapter SBA-EL, color filters SCF-ELOR1 and SCF-ELOR2, the LP-EL battery pack, and the LC-E6 charger.
