The MB110D brings Dante networked audio to a standard phantom-powered condenser gooseneck microphone, replacing a point-to-point XLR run with a single Cat5 or Cat6 cable that carries both audio and power. That simplifies wiring in AV-over-IP conference rooms where every other device on the table is already networked.

Power comes from PoE (IEEE 802.3af) rather than a local supply, and the base still provides standard 48V phantom power out to the connected gooseneck mic, so existing CAD and third-party condenser goosenecks work without modification.
