The MS201L builds on CAD's MS200 flush-mount base with a logic control output, so pressing the touch-sensitive mute switch doesn't just cut the mic, it also sends a DC +5V/0V trigger signal an AV system can use to switch cameras or route audio automatically. That makes it a fit for video conferencing rooms and courtrooms where camera-follows-mic behavior matters.

It defaults to muted on power-up for privacy, and a 5-pin XLR output carries both audio and the logic signal to the room's control system. Anti-vibration rubber and a metal fixing ring keep the install solid.
