The Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro PL Mount is an optional lens mount for the URSA Mini Pro, replacing the camera's user-swappable mount so it accepts PL cine lenses. It carries contact pins for Cooke's /i Technology protocol, so a compatible lens can pass its data to the camera.

That lens information is recorded into the clip metadata and can be read later in software such as DaVinci Resolve, which helps match lenses and streamline the grade and VFX pipeline. The mount swaps in by the operator without factory service.
