Blackmagic Fairlight Audio Interface

The Fairlight Audio Interface is the rack mount analog and digital I/O box for a Fairlight system. It brings microphone, line and digital inputs into the DaVinci Resolve Fairlight page and feeds the monitor outputs back to the room, which is what a dubbing stage needs rather than a desktop interface.

Connections cover analog inputs with preamps, analog monitor outputs and digital audio I/O, all clocked and managed from the Fairlight system. It mounts in a rack, runs from mains and is configured from the Fairlight Studio and Console setup utility over its control connection.

Digital Audio Inputs	9 x fully transformer coupled AES stereo digital inputs. / 1 x S/PDIF input with sample-rate conversion.
Digital Audio Outputs	11 x AES stereo digital outputs. / 1 x stereo digital S/PDIF output. / Standard 25pin Tascam interface for Analog and AES looms.
Sync Input	1 x 75 ohm BNC Reference input. Tri-Sync or Black Burst. / 1 x 75 ohm BNC word clock input.
Device Control	1 x RS-422 9-pin machine control input. / 1 x RS-422 9-pin machine control output.
Timecode	Timecode input and output with regeneration.
