Blackmagic Fairlight Audio Accelerator
The Fairlight Audio Accelerator is a DSP card that moves Fairlight mixing and processing off the host CPU. That keeps track counts high and latency low on a big session, so a mixer can keep adding processing without the workstation becoming the limit.
The card installs in the DaVinci Resolve workstation and handles the Fairlight mixer's channel processing, buses and effects in dedicated hardware. It is the base for the MADI upgrade, which adds high channel count digital tie lines to the same card.
