AtlasIED FAP82-TR New Construction Ring for FAP82T and FAPSUB-1

The FAP82-TR installs before the ceiling drywall goes up, so the drywall crew has a fixed pattern to cut around instead of guessing at a speaker's final position. It is the new-construction ring for AtlasIED's FAP82T ceiling speaker and the FAPSUB-1 in-ceiling subwoofer, and it is what keeps a prewire job from turning into a rework job once the ceiling is finished.

Galvanized steel construction resists the rust that raw steel would pick up sitting in an open ceiling cavity during construction, and the ring accommodates either 16 in or 24 in on-center stud and joist spacing, which covers the two standard framing patterns a contractor is likely to run into.
