Adaptive Technologies 3/16" Wire Rope Suspension Sling
Adaptive Technologies builds this suspension sling around 3/16" 7x19 galvanized aircraft cable, terminated at both ends with drop-forged shoulder eyebolts and eyenuts rather than swaged loops. Forged hardware holds a more predictable, repeatable rating than a bent-and-crimped eye, which is why it is the standard suspension component behind speaker rigging on this size cable across the ATG line.
Each length is stocked from 1 to 20 feet so an installer can hang a cluster from a fixed structural point without splicing cable in the field, and load ratings are calculated to a 5:1 design factor. It ships galvanized (silver) or black zinc plate for houses of worship, theaters and touring rigs that want the hardware to disappear against a dark grid.
