Audio-Technica AT899cT5 Lavalier Microphone

The AT899cT5 is the Lectrosonics-terminated version of Audio-Technica's AT899, one of the smallest omnidirectional condenser lavaliers made. The tiny capsule all but disappears on clothing or in props, which is why it is a broadcast and theater staple, and the omnidirectional pattern captures natural, full speech that stays even as the wearer turns their head.

A 55 inch miniature cable terminates in a 5-pin TA5F connector for Lectrosonics bodypack transmitters, so the mic takes its bias from the pack and needs no separate power module or battery. It is at home on news sets, in theater productions, and in any application where the microphone should not be seen on a Lectrosonics wireless rig.
