Audio-Technica BP899 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone
The BP899 is a subminiature omnidirectional condenser lavalier at just 5.3mm in diameter, built to stay nearly invisible on camera while picking up evenly regardless of which way a wearer turns their head, useful for a panel discussion or interview where the mic can't be constantly repositioned. An acoustically transparent, moisture-repellent mesh protects the diaphragm without narrowing its frequency response.
With an 80 Hz, 18 dB/octave low cut to control handling and clothing noise, and a rating up to 140 dB SPL, it holds up to both quiet lecture halls and loud outdoor events. It ships as a bare pigtail for wiring into a house system, or terminated for cH-style (Audio-Technica) or CT4 (Shure TA4F) wireless transmitters, in black or beige to disappear against skin or clothing.
