A panel mounted flat on top of a stand sits directly above the column, which is rarely where the light needs to be. This adapter moves it: the arm extends 28.0cm horizontally and stands 38.1cm tall, so the Verge reaches out over a desk or a subject while the stand base stays clear of the frame and out of the walkway.

The head pans and tilts through 180 degrees to set the angle once the position is right, and the base is a standard 5/8in baby pin, so it drops into any C-stand or light stand already on the truck. The whole adapter weighs 48.1g. It comes in silver and in black.
