Whirlwind HBR Blank Rack Panel Back Box

An R series blank panel is an open sheet of aluminium across the rack face. Add the matching HBR back box and it becomes an enclosed box you can drill for your own connectors, with the wiring behind the panel protected rather than hanging in the rack.

The numbering follows Whirlwind's own rule: HB plus the panel number, so the box for an R-4 is the HBR-4. R-2 through R-6 cover 3.50 to 10.50 inches of rack face, in EIA 19 inch width. The panels themselves are 0.090 inch 5052 aluminium with bent flanges and a brushed black powder coat.
