Tascam TH-06 Closed-Back Monitoring Headphones

The TH-06 is a closed-back dynamic monitoring headphone, the type used at a tracking position where leakage into an open microphone is the constraint. Frequency response runs from 10 Hz to 26 kHz and impedance is 45 ohms, low enough to reach usable level from a portable recorder as well as from a rack headphone amp.

Power handling is 1,850 mW, so it tolerates the level a drummer asks for. The cable extends to about 9.8 ft and terminates in a gold-plated 1/8 inch stereo mini jack with a 1/4 inch adapter supplied, covering both consumer and professional outputs. The headphone weighs 310 g.
