Sedus se:flex Self-Adjusting Task Chair

se:flex is Sedus's answer to a workstation that gets used by more than one person a day: an automatic weight-sensing system tunes the recline resistance to whoever sits down, and the mesh backrest follows the sitter's movement instead of locking into one preset position. A sliding seat with 70mm of travel and 4D armrests cover the adjustments that still need a human hand.

The backrest membrane comes in five colors over a plastic star base in black or light grey, with an optional polished aluminum base and a choice of hard or soft 65mm castors. It carries GS (TUV) and DIN EN 1335 certification along with the AGR ergonomic seal, and rated to roughly 130kg (150kg on the aluminum base) it is built for continuous multi-shift use, not just a single assigned desk.
